PENDLETON — Spring Valley Quilt Guild conducted its annual Quilts in the Park show from Thursday through Sunday at Pendleton Historical Museum in Falls Park.

From scores of entries in more than a dozen categories in this year’s 41st edition of the museum fundraiser, first- through third-place winners were recognized.

The guild also honored member Linda Lupton with its 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Lupton, who has been quilting since the 1970s, has served on the guild leadership board and has been president and volunteer coordinator. She also been an active member of other guilds.

Ann Fisher won three awards with her quilt, “Stop the Recount 2020.” — first place in the categories Large Bed, Pieced, Machine Quilted and Best Machine Quilting, and Judge’s Choice.

Ann Fisher won first place in the Bed, Applique, Machine Quilted category with “Grandma Ann’s Garden.”

Barbara Snodgrass won first place in the Hand-Quilted category with “Doll Quilt.”

Marsha Zeller won first place in the Moda Mystery category with “Solstice.”

Large Wall, All techniques, Machine or Hand Quilted, first place — Corene Kuklenski, “Tales of First Ladies.”

Sharman Neel won first place in the Quilters First Time Entry in any Quilt Show category with “Vintage Rose.”

Marsha Zeller won first place in the Small Wall, All Techniques, Machine or Hand Quilted category with “Laundry Line.”

Suzie Pierce won first place in the Miscellaneous Quilted Items category with “French Braid Manteau.”

Sherry Boram won first place in the Art, All Techniques, Machine or Hand Quilted category with “The Sentinel.”
