CNY Fiber Arts Festival to feature animals, workshops, music, food, fun | Daily Sentinel

BOUCKVILLE — CNY Fiber Arts Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 11-12 at Butternut Hill Campground, 6893 state Route 20, Bouckville.

A family-friendly festival featuring fiber animals (sheep, alpacas, goats, rabbits) and fiber arts, including spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, felting, and crochet. There will be demonstrations of spinning, weaving, dyeing, and sheep shearing and activities for children.

Browse through more than 100 vendor booths under cover with yarn, roving, fabrics, fiber equipment, unique homemade articles from natural fibers, photographs, and other farm products.

There also will be a fleece sale, weaving competition, raffle, wheel corral, story loom, music and food, as well as nationally-recognized speakers with free lectures on knitting sustainably and textiles in history.

Admission is $6, free for children 11 and younger. No dogs allowed.
